How We Work on Flint Concrete

Concrete Contractors Flint pours and repairs residential concrete in Flint and the surrounding Genesee County communities: driveways, patios, stamped surfaces, public and private walks, front steps, garage floors and shed pads, plus leveling and resurfacing for slabs that can still be saved.

Most of the houses we work on are older than their owners. Census figures summarized by Point2Homes put the median build year for Flint housing at 1954, and close to seven in ten homes went up before 1960. That means a lot of original walks, stoops and narrow driveways that have been through 60 or more Michigan winters, often on a base that was never more than packed dirt.

What you can expect from us

  • A real look first. We measure, check how water moves across the lot and figure out why the old concrete failed before we price anything.
  • Line-item pricing. Tear-out, base stone, slab thickness, reinforcement, finish and sealing each get their own line, so you can compare bids fairly.
  • The cheaper fix when it works. If a sunken panel can be lifted or a worn surface resurfaced, we quote that next to full replacement.
  • City paperwork covered. Work in Flint's public sidewalk or approach goes through the Street Maintenance Division, and we schedule around its permit and final inspection.
  • Care instructions in writing. You leave with dates for walking, driving and sealing, and advice for the first winter.
